The Details Technical Skills: (Training Provided)Assist in the operation and adjustment of woodworking and assembly equipment, including table saw, chop saw, jointer, hand router, splinter, power screwdrivers, power screw dado machine, and miscellaneous hand tools. Learn how to correctly measure, cut, and prepare materials according to project specifications. Learn woodworking techniques and proper use of adhesives. Assist with shop organization, material handling, and maintaining a clean work environment. Assembly & Finishing Learn basic wood and solid surface sanding techniques. Learn how to preform cabinet assembly, including joinery, gluing, clamping, and hardware prep. Blueprints & Measurements Learn how to read and interpret shop drawings for dimensions, assembly requirements, and fixture details. Production & Process Understanding Learn how to extract key information from work packets, including material specifications and hardware requirements. Assist with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles. Quality & Accountability Strong commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards across all aspects of the job. Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to solve problems and identify root causes. Learn how to conduct quality checks to ensure each piece meets project requirements. Willingness to learn and take guidance.
