Apply for this role →As a Broadband Technician I, you will work both inside and outside to build, install, test, and repair telecommunication and broadband services for residential and commercial customers. Success in this role requires the ability to perform the responsibilities and meet the qualifications listed below. Complete entry-level training successfully. Install internet and streaming services. Install aerial or underground coax and fiber cable. Perform fiber splicing. Demonstrate and educate customers professionally on the use of Lightcurve services. Analyze quality and determine acceptability of services delivered upon completion of installation. Remain on call during scheduled time periods and respond to calls as needed. Operate and maintain the assigned vehicle in accordance with company guidelines, ensuring it is stocked with necessary equipment. Coordinate with other departments as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution. Maintain a sense of urgency and consistently meet deadlines. Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately for each job assignment. Maintain up-to-date documentation on network specifics, configurations, and changes. Work closely with other technical teams (e.g., technical support, dispatch, central office, engineering, customer service/sales, and management) to align network infrastructure with business needs. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in networking.
Qualifications:
High-school diploma or equivalent.
Valid state driver's license and non-negligent driving record.
Successful completion of first aid and CPR training within the first year of employment.
Successful completion of flagger training within the first two years of employment, as scheduled by supervisor.
Must pass background and pre-employment drug screening.
Desirable : • NCTI/Jones, TIA, WA state low voltage license, or relevant industry certifications.
Skills & Competencies:
Basic knowledge of internal systems within the first three months; proficiency within six months. Ability to take trouble calls and respond effectively while on call.

- Must stay in compliance with state, federal, and company safety guidelines.
- Ability to frequently move/lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Ability to crawl, bend, twist, to work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and other confined spaces.
- Ability to climb poles and ladders, with comfort working aloft with hand tools.
- Must be able to work overtime and holidays as service conditions require.
- On-call participation required during scheduled time periods.8- or 10-hour day shifts required, with evenings, weekends, and holidays on call when needed.
- Fine motor skills and typing ability.
Compensation:
- This Full Time position pays $28.93 -$34.03 per hour10 Paid Holidays per year4 weeks per year Sick/Paid Time Off, prorated
