Buyer/Planner

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with purchasing, inventory, scheduling, or manufacturing experience who is looking to develop their skills within a fast-paced production environment.-Location: Fort Atkinson, WI-Pay: $24-$28/hr-Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMResponsibilities Review ERP/MRP data to create purchase orders, obtain supplier quotes, and monitor material availability. Maintain supplier information, pricing, lead times, and inventory data within the ERP system. Monitor supplier performance and assist in resolving shortages, late deliveries, and other supply chain challenges. Support inventory control, sourcing initiatives, cost reduction efforts, and purchasing KPI reporting. Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity. Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams to support on-time delivery goals. Monitor material availability and production constraints, adjusting schedules as needed to meet customer requirements. Assist with continuous improvement efforts to optimize purchasing and planning processes.
