Apply for this role →Yard Checker We are seeking a reliable Yard Checker to perform daily yard checks and assist with guard shack operations.
Responsibilities:
Inspect trailers and compare information to yard reports. Verify trailer numbers and determine if trailers are empty or loaded. Open trailer/container doors as needed (up to 50 lbs).Enter trailer information into computer systems. Assist with driver check-ins, guard logs, and WMS data entry.
Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Basic computer skills. Prior clerk, dispatch, guard shack, or logistics experience required. Resume required for consideration. Must have own vehicle to do yard check onsite. Training, safety vest, gloves, flashlight, clipboard, and paperwork are provided. Interview required before start.
