Robert Half Legal is partnering with a boutique defense firm in Century City in its search for a Discovery Paralegal for an ongoing contract opportunity. This hybrid role requires 2–3 days per week in the office and offers the opportunity to join a busy litigation team in a highly specialized capacity. This position will focus exclusively on discovery-related work. The firm is seeking a paralegal with strong experience managing discovery in litigation matters and supporting attorneys through all phases of the discovery process.
Location: Century City, CA
Schedule: Hybrid, 2–3 days in office
Compensation: $35-$50/hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Ongoing contract through Robert Half
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of written discovery, including organizing, tracking, and managing discovery requests and responses
- Assist with document review, production coordination, and discovery compliance
- Manage and maintain discovery databases, files, and related materials
- Coordinate with attorneys and internal team members to support discovery workflows
- Review records and documents for responsiveness and organization
- Support eDiscovery and document-intensive litigation matters as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a litigation or discovery paralegal
- Strong hands-on experience handling discovery from start to finish
- Familiarity with document review and production processes
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced law firm environment
