CMMC Consultant | Fort Meade, MD | $90,000 - $120,000 plus benefits An established MSP in the Fort Meade area are hiring for a CMMC Consultant to play a key role on their CMMC consulting team. This is an onsite role working alongside internal teams and client stakeholders across the DIB.What This Role Looks Like Day To Day-> Working closely with internal and client teams to stay current on NIST 800-171, DFARS 252.204-7012 and the wider CMMC regulatory landscape-> Participating in gap assessment of on perm and cloud environments, collecting evidence and documenting results-> Spotting gaps in client environments and shaping practical remediation paths to address them What They're Looking For-> 3+ years in a relevant GRC compliance/security role working with NIST 800-171 or similar frameworks-> A technical background in network and cloud security is ideal, working knowledge of SIEMs, firewalls, EDRs etc-> At least 1 industry certification such as Security+, Network+, CISA, CCP. CMMC CCP strongly preferred.
