For yourself, for the company, and for our planet.your challenge Act as the Revit subject matter expert for the organization, supporting and creating Revit models as needed while serving as the primary liaison between external agencies and internal design teams to maintain design consistency and project continuity. Serve as a primary customer-facing project manager: conduct project review and kick-off meetings, gather requirements directly from customers and sales, develop custom design solutions and project estimates, and maintain ongoing customer contact through project delivery. Support the growth and development of the design team by providing training and mentorship to draftspersons, trainees, and interns in Revit modelling, design standards, and project workflows. Prepare piping layout drawings, isometric drawings, spool sheet drawings/cut sheets with complete BOM’s (bill-of-materials), pad and equipment drawings from customer-furnished drawings and vendor data in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Fabrication CAD, Navisworks and other modelling software as required. Prepare and coordinate Basic Engineering Package (BEP), adhering to established guidelines, for transferring projects to the Apollo design team or to the AMEA design team when capacity requires additional support. Establish naming conventions, file structures, and modelling standards across the team, including creating and updating BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and ensuring all models comply with client or project-specific requirements. Review drawings and bill of materials (plans & sections, isometrics, spool sheets, B.O.M.'s) produced both in-house and by the design team to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards. Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to deliver timely design support, including Plan – to – Estimate quote preparation, product recommendations and custom design solutions that meet customer specifications. Travel to jobsites to obtain accurate field measurements and interact with customers and Apollo salespeople as required. Complete additional duties as assigned by your manager.requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ability to interface with all levels of management within the company and clients. Experience with Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD, Revit, and (BIM) Building Information Modelling. Be able to travel domestically and internationally. Must have project management skills (i.e. scheduling, budgeting, expediting, material coordination, information organization, customer interface, preparation of drawing issues to customer, etc.)Knowledge of piping specification engineering and pipe support experience. Advanced proficiency in Revit (required); experience with AutoCAD MEP, Fabrication CAD, and Navisworks preferred; Solid Edge experience is a plus. English language proficiency of at least B1 level where clear communication and basic problem-solving skills are essential.why work at Aalberts?
