This is an excellent opportunity for a public accounting professional who enjoys staying hands-on with engagements while leading small audit teams and developing strong client relationships. Responsibilities:
- Manage audit engagements from planning through completion
- Lead small audit teams onsite at client locations
- Oversee audits for a client base with a strong focus on the construction industry
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships
- Review audit workpapers and financial statements
- Manage engagement timelines, deliverables, and client expectations
- Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of public accounting experience
- Strong audit experience with progressive responsibility
- Prior construction industry audit experience highly preferred
- Experience supervising and managing small audit teams
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA preferred
