The background that qualifies you isn't one specific resume — it's a level of preparation, discipline, and commitment that develops across several paths: Military service in protective, security, combat, or related operational roles Law enforcement — patrol, investigations, dignitary or executive protection, federal service Emergency services — EMT, paramedic, firefighter, or military corpsman with operational field experience Physical security operations — GSOC, access control, or residential estate security for high-net-worth clients Executive or close protection in any capacity — private, corporate, or overseas Training in defensive tactics, tactical firearms, emergency medicine, or arrest and control techniques is a strong advantage.
