Position Summary: Black Diamond Wealth Management is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Advisor to become an integral part of our boutique wealth management firm dedicated exclusively to providing comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals and families. This is not a sales position. We are looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about solving complex financial challenges, building lasting client relationships, and delivering exceptional, white-glove service. Working closely with the Managing Partner, Director of Financial Planning, Chief Investment Officer, and broader advisory team, this individual will develop, implement, and monitor customized financial strategies while gradually assuming responsibility for client relationships as the firm continues to grow. The ideal candidate possesses advanced technical planning expertise, outstanding communication and relationship management skills, and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This role offers a clear path toward becoming one of Black Diamond's lead advisors and future leaders.
Position Responsibilities: Financial Planning·        Lead the preparation and presentation of comprehensive financial plans.·        Develop sophisticated planning strategies across the six pillars of financial planning.·        Review retirement, cash flow, and withdrawal strategies.·        Maintain clients' financial planning data to ensure recommendations remain current.·        Review estate documents and identify planning opportunities.·        Coordinate with attorneys and CPAs to implement estate and tax planning strategies.·        Assist clients with trust, gifting, charitable, and tax-efficient planning. Wealth Management·        Analyze investment allocations relative to client objectives.·        Prepare customized portfolio analyses and recommendations.·        Collaborate with the Chief Investment Officer on investment strategy.·        Partner with the Client Service team to ensure timely implementation of client recommendations. Client Relationship Management·        Serve as the primary advisor for assigned client relationships.·        Lead discovery meetings, annual reviews, and ongoing planning discussions.·        Translate complex financial concepts into practical recommendations.·        Coordinate implementation of planning strategies across internal and external professionals. Leadership & Collaboration·        Mentor and develop junior planners and associate advisors.·        Collaborate with firm leadership on complex planning cases.·        Contribute to improving planning processes, client experience, and firm initiatives.·        Support the continued growth and evolution of Black Diamond Wealth Management.
Qualifications: ·        Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.·        7–10+ years of financial planning and wealth management experience.·        CFP® designation required.·        Series 65 (or ability to obtain).·        Life & Health license preferred.·        RIA experience strongly preferred.·        Experience serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients preferred.·        Demonstrated ability to independently lead sophisticated client relationships.·        Advanced knowledge of retirement, tax, estate, and insurance planning. Technology·        eMoney (or equivalent financial planning software).·        CRM systems (Redtail, Wealthbox, Salesforce, etc.).·        Portfolio management software such as Orion.

Compensation & Benefits: ·        Competitive base salary beginning at $165,000, plus performance bonus.
