We represent religious institutions, denominations, seminaries, clergy, and individuals with religion-based claims in complex governance, corporate, employment, and constitutional disputes. Our practice combines robust state and federal litigation with transactional and strategic advisory work, frequently collaborating as co-counsel with leading national religious liberty organizations.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an exceptionally qualified mid- to senior-level associate to join our growing practice, with the potential for anaccelerated partnership track. This position offers a dynamic mix of litigation and transactional work in a warm, collaborative, and fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing and mentoring junior associates.
Conducting depositions and handling hearings and trials.
Working directly with clients and executive leadership.
Arguing matters in state and federal courts, including appellate courts as appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience:
At least 3 years of relevant legal experience with outstanding credentials and strong litigation and/or advisory capability.
Background:
Welcomed, but not required - Prior experience in Religion Law, religious liberty, First Amendment matters, non-profit/institutional representation, or faith-based organizations. Accomplished attorneys from other practice areas with transferable skills and a compelling interest in Religion Law are strongly encouraged to apply.
