Apply for this role →Plastic Extrusion Tooling & Die Designer Engineer Mentor, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire a Plastic Extrusion Tooling & Die Designer or Engineer for plastic extrusion tooling & die design & development.
Salary Range: $65K - $110K Full-time Permanent Position with Benefits.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate (Associate or Bachelor degree preferred)4+ years' experience with extrusion designing tooling for plastic extrusion to include Rigid PVC, Flexible PVC, ABS, ASA, HDPE, LDPE, PP, TPRs/TPOs, PC and other engineered resins.
- CAD experience is required
- Must be able to troubleshoot existing tooling as well as Familiar with operate die grinders, milling machines and lathes to modify existing and new tooling for single screw extrusion machines
- Familiar with vacuum sizing techniques
- Day shift with occasional weekend work as needed
