Apply for this role →Electrical Panel Builder – Dayton, OHFull-Time | On-Site | $65,000–$80,000A growing industrial manufacturing company specializing in custom furnaces and control systems is seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Builder to join their team in Dayton, Ohio. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity offering long-term stability, full benefits, and the chance to work in a clean, organized shop environment with a highly experienced engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials
- Assemble and wire control panels, including mounting and terminating PLCs, VFDs, contactors, and relays
- Pull and run wire through conduit; bend and mount conduit securely
- Perform functional and safety testing of assembled panels
- Troubleshoot and repair wiring issues or component problems during assembly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certificate preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in panel building, machine wiring, or industrial electrical work
- Strong understanding of 240V/480V single and 3-phase circuits, AC/DC control circuits
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics accurately
- Familiarity with UL 508A standards and industrial control systems is a plus
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools
- Must possess good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Compensation & Benefits:
- $70,000–$80,000 annual salary, depending on experience
