Excel & VBA Specialist (Non-Remote, Local)

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to support and improve our internal business processes. The ideal candidate will have experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting VBA macros, automating repetitive tasks, and developing efficient Excel-based solutions.

Primary Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot VBA macros and Excel automation tools. Create and improve Excel spreadsheets, formulas, and data-processing workflows. Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy. Work with large datasets, spreadsheets, and complex formulas. Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes through Excel and VBA.Debug VBA code and resolve issues with existing macros. Maintain and improve existing Excel-based tools and applications. Collaborate with team members to understand business needs and develop practical solutions.

Required Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of VBA and the ability to write, edit, and troubleshoot code. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous professional experience working with Excel and VBA.Experience automating business processes using VBA macros. Familiarity with advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, and data manipulation. Experience working with large spreadsheets and complex datasets. Experience improving existing code and optimizing spreadsheet performance.

Experience: Prior experience in an Excel- and VBA-focused role is preferred. Candidates with strong Excel and VBA skills who can demonstrate their abilities are encouraged to apply.
