About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Falls Church, Virginia, 22042!Job TitleRN – Emergency DepartmentLocationFalls Church, VASchedule / Job TypeContract | OnsiteKey ResponsibilitiesProvide emergency nursing care within a high-volume ED environment seeing approximately 350 patients per day across a large department with over 70 rooms and additional hallway spacesDeliver care aligned with stroke, STEMI, and trauma center protocols in a Level I trauma center settingMedically clear patients as appropriate, including suicidal patients utilizing sitters; no psychiatric holds are maintained in the EDManage both acute and non-acute patient populations, with non-acute patients seen on a designated non-acute side of the ED (no separate fast track area) Fulfill on-call obligations of 1–2 shifts per schedule periodFloat as needed to offsite ED locations in the surrounding area, including a smaller facility with 10 beds (~40 patients/day) and another with 7 beds (~25 patients/day)
Required Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licenseMinimum 2 years of emergency department experienceExperience at a Level I or Level II trauma center requiredCurrent BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CPI certifications requiredAvailability to work 1 major and 1 minor holiday per contract periodWillingness to take 1–2 on-call shifts per schedule and float to offsite ED locationsPreferred Experience / SkillsExperience with EPIC electronic health records system strongly preferredPrevious travel nursing experience preferredWhy Join UsOpportunity to work in a dynamic, high-acuity Level I trauma center environment specializing in stroke, STEMI, and trauma care with dedicated security support in the EDGain diverse experience across multiple ED settings through float opportunities to offsite locations
