Registered Nurse (RN)

Manchester Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our acute-care community hospital. In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for diverse patient populations, collaborating closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff. You will provide education to patients and families, ensure accurate EHR documentation, and follow strict safety and infection-control standards. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately Monitor, document, and report patient status using EHR systems Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams on care plans Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge care Maintain infection control and patient safety protocols at all times Respond to changes in patient condition and participate in emergency interventions Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives Support a compassionate, patient-centered environment aligned with hospital values Patient assessment IV therapy and medication administration Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Care planning and coordination Wound care management Vital signs monitoring and interpretation Patient and family education Infection control practices Telemetry monitoring Emergency response procedures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in CT Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred Certification in related specialty (e.g., Med-Surg, ER) a plus
