The Firm A leading quantitative investment manager known for its advanced technology and data-driven research, delivering trading, treasury, risk and engineering services at scaleGroup functions more like a tech company than a traditional hedge fund, and is mid-way through an ambitious technology and data transformation across the businessThe RoleOwn end-to-end delivery of technology and data initiatives from inception through to implementation, acting as the connective link between business stakeholders and technical teamsApply agile project management practices to plan, prioritize and track work, facilitating ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives where they add valueBuild a strong working understanding of data flows, system architecture and technical dependencies, partnering closely with engineering and data leadershipMaintain governance and reporting across the project lifecycle, and influence stakeholders across business and technology functions, including some outside direct reporting linesOne year fixed-term mandate based in Connecticut, hybrid in-officeWhat They're Looking For A strong track record delivering technology and data-focused projects in complex, matrixed environments, ideally within financial services, a hedge fund or an alternatives businessPractical agile project management experience; Scrum Master certification or hands-on experience is a strong plusSolid understanding of data and architecture concepts, comfortable engaging credibly with engineering and data teams on technical trade-offsStrong influencing skills, able to align stakeholders and drive decisions without relying on direct authority
