Residential HVAC Technician – Home Services

Berkeys Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a Residential HVAC Technician to service, diagnose, and repair heating and cooling systems in Dallas–Fort Worth homes. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing maintenance, and completing change-outs while following safety and code requirements. You’ll explain findings and options to homeowners, provide high-quality workmanship, and accurately document work. Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems in customer homes Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and system inspections Install and replace HVAC equipment and components per code and manufacturer specs Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and airflow issues using proper tools Communicate findings, options, and recommendations clearly to homeowners Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and local codes Accurately document work performed, parts used, and recommendations Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean, safe condition Residential HVAC troubleshooting Installation of HVAC equipment Preventive maintenance Reading wiring diagrams and schematics Refrigerant charging and recovery Combustion and airflow diagnostics Electrical and low-voltage diagnostics Use of HVAC tools and gauges HVAC controls and thermostats Customer service and communication Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k EPA Section 608 Certification State HVAC Technician License (or ability to obtain) Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record NATE Certification (preferred) OSHA 10/30 Safety Training (preferred)
