Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $3,500 based on experience, technical skills, certifications, and overall qualifications. Bonus eligibility and amount are determined during the hiring process.
Your Role:
As a Manual Lathe Machinist, you will operate manual lathe machines to produce precision components that meet exact specifications. Youll use technical skill and experience to ensure accuracy, consistency, and craftsmanship in every part, while contributing to the quality and reputation that define Master Machining.
Your Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various manual lathe machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, job tickets, and technical drawings
- Verify that parts meet all print specifications using precision measuring tools
- Perform regular machine maintenance and monitor tool wear
- Load, indicate, and secure parts accurately to fixtures
- Work efficiently to meet production timelines and maintain quality standards
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure workflow efficiency
- What Were Looking For:35 years of hands-on manual lathe experience
- Strong knowledge of manual machining processes and tolerances
- Skilled in measurement tools and blueprint reading
- Ability to work with large and small components
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and quality-driven
- Willingness to work overtime or occasional Saturdays when needed
