This is a newly created role, offering the chance to step in as a go-to leader (without direct management responsibilities) and play a key role in financial reporting, standard costing, and process improvements.

Your Role: Senior Accountant As a Senior Accountant, you will be a key player in our accounting and finance team, supporting daily financial operations and driving efficiencies. You’ll work closely with the Accounting Manager, Staff Accountant, and clerks to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and continuous improvement in processes.
🔹 Core Responsibilities:
  • Oversee month-end close, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance
  • Lead invoice auditing and support AP/AR oversight
  • Support cost accounting functions – standard costing, purchase price variance (PPV), and inventory reconciliation
  • Work with Bill of Materials (BOMs) and ensure costing accuracy
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize ERP (D365 experience a plus!)
