CHR Transportation Supervisor Help connect our community to the care they need. Santo Domingo Pueblo is seeking a dependable and community-minded CHR Transportation Supervisor to lead and coordinate non-emergency medical transportation services for our community members. This position plays an important role in ensuring patients-especially our elders and those with greater health or mobility needs-have safe, reliable, and respectful transportation to medical appointments and essential healthcare services. Summary of Position: The CHR Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating non-emergency medical transportation services within the Community Health Representative (CHR) Program. This position ensures safe, timely, reliable, and culturally respectful transportation for eligible patients to and from medical appointments. The Supervisor oversees CHR drivers, coordinates transportation schedules and vehicle operations, ensures compliance with applicable policies and safety requirements, and collaborates with clinical, prevention, and administrative teams to support continuity of care and community health initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; associate's degree in health administration, Public Health, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare, community health, transportation services, Tribal community services, or a related field.
  • Supervisory, lead-worker, scheduling, or transportation coordination experience preferred.
  • Completion of the IHS Community Health Representative (CHR) training course, or ability to complete required training within the established timeframe.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire.
  • Defensive driving certification, or ability to obtain certification within the required timeframe.
  • Experience working with elders, individuals with disabilities, etc.
  • Must be available to work outside of regular business hours as program needs require, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and designated office closure days.
  • Must possess a valid New Mexico driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, and meet Santo Domingo Pueblo vehicle insurance eligibility requirements.
  • Must satisfactorily pass the FBI Fingerprint, State Check, MVR Check, and a new hire drug test.
  • Fluency in the Keres language is preferred.
