Apply for this role →To support the Corporate Finance Department, the full-time Senior Accountant - NY Licensed will assist in the preparation of SEC filings, prepare work papers, and ensure compliance with internal controls over financial reporting while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of all SEC filings, including forms 10Q, 10K, 8K, and 11K
Prepare clear and concise work papers to support SEC filings
Support internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with ICFR
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3-4+ years of experience, including 2+ years in the Big 4
Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls/SOX requirements
Experience in researching accounting literature
Ability to work collaboratively across different business units and functions
