Universal Banker

THE ROLE: You'll be the go-to person in the branch. You'll handle day-to-day transactions and also grow the book by bringing in new personal and business checking relationships. In practice that means: Processing a full range of transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, and more) and balancing your drawer Opening and explaining personal and business deposit accounts Building a pipeline through outbound calls, networking, community involvement and referrals Growing deposits with existing customers by getting to know what they actually need Working alongside commercial and SBA lending partners to spot referral opportunities Helping open and close the branch and follow security and compliance proceduresWHAT YOU BRINGBanking experience, such as teller, universal banker, personal banker or another branch role At least 1 year of sales experience, ideally at a bank or credit union, with a track record of hitting new-account or deposit goals Confidence picking up the phone and starting conversations Accuracy, organization, and the ability to juggle several priorities
