Position Overview: Rising Perspective Counseling is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic treatment team in a fully remote setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct individual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to the needs of each patient. Facilitate family therapy sessions, guiding families through complex interpersonal dynamics. Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in coordination with healthcare providers. Document patient progress and treatment interventions accurately and promptly in accordance with departmental standards. Orient new patients and their families to mental health services, ensuring they understand their treatment pathways. Serve as an advocate for patients, offering referrals to additional services as necessary. Monitor and report on any changes in patient behavior to ensure timely and effective interventions. Engage in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance professional skills and clinical competencies. Patient Population / Client FocusYour role will involve providing mental health services to a diverse client base, including individuals of all ages, couples, and families. You will work with patients who face various challenges, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma recovery. A significant focus will be on culturally sensitive practices, understanding and respecting the backgrounds, beliefs, and values of those we serve.
Qualifications: A Master's Degree in a relevant field such as Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology. An active and unrestricted license as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California. A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating advanced clinical skills. Proven ability in providing therapeutic services to a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering therapeutic relationships.
Preferred Experience: Experience delivering marriage and family therapy, particularly with culturally diverse populations. Familiarity with electronic health record systems for managing patient documentation and care coordination. Capability to integrate holistic approaches into therapy to support overall well-being.
Compensation and Benefits: The salary for this position ranges between $120,000 to $130,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
