Postsallinsuranceandpatientpaymentsintheformatofcash, checks, creditcardsandelectronicallytransferredfundstopatientaccounts; posts insurancerecoupment's; notes bothaccountswithrecoupmentdetails. 2. Assistsinthemonthendclosingbypostingappropriateinformation tothe AR. 3. Balancestodaily/monthlybatchdeposits. 4. Countsandverifiesthebalanceofthesafedaily. 5. Logsandforwardscashspreadsheetstoappropriate leadershipdaily. 6. Opens, counts, verifiesandpreparesdepositsforco-paysandcafeteriafundsreceived; maintains Alcolink Spreadsheetfordepositsasneeded. 7. Researchesandresolvesunidentifiedpaymentsandmanuallypostspaymentstothe appropriateaccountsfromtheerror/exceptionreport. 8. Researchescomplexissuesutilizinginternalandexternalresourcesandcontacts. 9. StorespermanentEOB/RA'seitherthroughpaperorscan. 10. Maintains Excelspreadsheetandbalancepaymentspostedtodaily/monthlydeposits. 11. Verifies, balancesandprepares cash/checksfordeposit. 12. Reverses/transfers payments /contractual/ adjustmentsornotifiestheappropriateunittoinitiatearefund. 13. Performs other duties as required.
