Salary: Stipend per the SEA Contract
General Statement: The GPS Advisor will serve as the teacher advisor for an identified group of students entering their 2nd year of high school with approximately 3-5 credits. As part of their advisory role, they will teach a full year Skills for Success academic support class to assist their students with executive functioning, goal setting, and social-emotional support. This position may be split between two or more individuals if there is mutual agreement among the individuals involved and the building administration.
Note:
Teachers dually certified in TESOL, Bilingual Education or ESL, with experience in Sheltered Instruction or fluency in a language other than English, will be given preference for all Stamford Public School positions.
