What you will do: Make service calls to our customers and keep both customers and dispatchers informed of progress on jobs. Process paperwork and maintain housekeeping in service truck and at customer property. Provide mechanical and electrical repairs of power generation systems. Effectively diagnose, repair, adjust and recondition diesel, natural gas and liquid propane engine driven generator sets. Performing scheduled service and troubleshooting tasks on customer generators. Taking necessary action to prevent or limit failure to optimize efficiency. Maintain truck inventory. Ensuring scheduled service activities are performed correctly and on time. Identifying potential problems ahead of time and be proactive implementing solutions.
What you will bring:
  • Strong customer service skills and inter-personal communication skills5 + years' experience as maintenance and/or service mechanic
  • Experience in performing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of power generation equipment and/or diesel engine experience.
  • Intermediate computer literacy
  • A valid driver license
  • Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • The ability to sit, stand, and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
  • The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
  • The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
Salary Range: Based on experience, $25-$40/ hour
Work Hours: Mon - Fri, Floating On Call hours.
