Armed Security Officer (3 yrs exp)

Maintains proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons. Greet guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication; interact with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessaryQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment Minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state) Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports Able to complete all range qualifications and functionsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related fieldBENEFITS:Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance Company's retirement plans Seven holidays annually paid at time and a half, if worked40 hours of vacation after one year of employment at eligible work assignments; unused vacation is only paid out where required by law ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
