We are a busy small animal hospital with a big heart! We're looking for a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Veterinary Assistant / Kennel Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Safely handle and restrain dogs and cats during examinations and treatments.
Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during appointments and surgeries.
Feed, walk, and care for boarding animals and hospitalized patients.
Clean and sanitize cages, kennels, and patient areas.
Perform laundry and general hospital cleaning.
Work as a team to provide excellent patient care.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of professional veterinary hospital experience REQUIRED.Experience safely handling and restraining dogs and cats.
Experience assisting veterinarians or veterinary technicians.
Strong communication, teamwork, and animal care skills.
Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Compensation
Pay: $17–$22 per hour, based on experience and skill set.
