Capsule and Tablet Machine Operators- Late Night Shift

Capsule OperatorSet up the equipment to start productionFeed the machine with raw material powder as necessary Check to see capsules are released correctly Control of weight variation Recuperation of powder from vacuums Refill or supply the machine with raw material powder and capsules as necessaryFill out all the different batch record formats, based on the time establishedKeep the work area cleanFollow established SOPs for position and comply with GMPsPerforms other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor Tablet OperatorSet up the equipment to start productionFeed the machine with raw material powder as necessaryFill out all the different forms, based on the time establishedKeep the work area cleanFollow established SOPs for position and comply with GMPsPerforms other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor QualificationsHigh School Degree Previous experience in the pharmaceutical/nutraceutical industry a plus Knowledge of GMPAbility to follow instructions Basic math skills Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish) OtherLate Night Shift: Monday to Friday 10pm to 5:45amPhysical Requirements Fast pace. Requires frequent standing, bending, lifting and moving 10 kilogram boxes. Ability to use ladders. Push, pull 100 kilo drums. Typical Work Conditions Person will be subject to food and nutritional bulk ingredients, which may affect the respiratory system or the skin, including an environment subject to odors, dust or airborne allergens. Person will be working in a dry and low moisture environment Monday to Friday 10pm to 5:45am
