ABOUT FLEETGENFleetGen is the compliance and carrier verification platform freight brokers use to stop fraud before a load moves. Since the Supreme Court's Montgomery v. Caribe ruling in May 2026, brokers can be sued for hiring the wrong carrier, and our data is how they protect themselves. • Used by teams at Amazon, GEICO and the U.S. Department of Transportation • 3,000+ users; peaked at over 2 million carrier searches in a single month earlier this year • Users tell us they trust our carrier data over the incumbents' (Highway, Carrier411, RMIS) • Launch has soft-committed to our current round and has expressed interest in our Series A • Advised by a unicorn founder, and by an advisor with deep relationships in the current administration who also runs a quantitative hedge fundWHAT'S ALREADY BUILTThe platform is in production with paying customers. You're joining to harden it and ship what's next, not to start from zero. • Carrier search: our core product. DOT/MC and name lookup over FMCSA authority, insurance, inspection, crash and safety data, with a risk score and findings report per carrier. • Carrier monitoring: watches carriers and alerts brokers when authority, insurance or ownership changes. • AI COI verification: an agent that emails a carrier's insurer, follows the reply chain, requests the certificate of insurance and verifies coverage without a human chasing it. • TMS + mobile driver app: shipments, customers, ELD tracking and audit-verified proof of delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Own the bug queue: triage, reproduce, fix and ship, including performance issues on data-heavy pages
- Build new features end to end, from Postgres schema to React Native screen
- Harden security: Supabase Row Level Security policies, auth flows, secrets handling, API rate limiting and groundwork for SOC 2
- Improve the data layer behind search: schema design, indexing, query performance and ingestion pipelines for FMCSA and insurance data
- Extend our AI agents (COI verification today, more document and verification workflows next)
- Ship directly with the founders. No layers, no tickets passed through three people. WHAT YOU BRING
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native, with an app in production
- Real Supabase experience: Postgres, RLS, auth, edge functions, storage
- Solid data modeling: you design schemas, write migrations and read query plans
- Security-first habits: OWASP basics, least-privilege access, safe handling of PII and insurance documents
- You can take a vague problem, scope it and ship it without hand-holding
- Nice to have: LLM/agent workflows, email parsing, search tuning, logistics or insurance dataCOMMITMENTPart-time to start (about 15 to 20 hours a week), remote, as a partner rather than a contractor. Room to go full-time after the Series A.COMPENSATION
