Cytotechnologist Seven Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist for a travel assignment in White Plains, NY. This role involves working within an acute care setting, performing crucial screening and cytology processes. The selected candidate will utilize their expertise in cytology assessment and preparation, contributing significantly to patient care in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities of the Cytotechnologist – Travel: Perform screening of GYN and non-GYN specimens Conduct Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) processing and immediate assessment for adequacy Execute cytology prep work for both GYN and non-GYN samples Requirements of the Cytotechnologist – Travel: NYS License – Required Bachelor of Science with ASCP Registry and/or Certified Cytology School Degree Minimum of 3 years' experience screening gynecological, non-gynecological specimens, and fine needle aspirations Familiarity with the Bethesda system for Cytology reporting Thin Prep CertificationASCP, BLS (AHA) certifications White Plains offers a vibrant community lifestyle with close proximity to New York City.
