Apply for this role →Senior Endoscopy Technician Role requires either SGNA education completion for GI/Endoscopy, or required to be a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) with 3 years Endoscopy experience. Minimum: 3 years experience required. Seeking a Senior Endoscopy Technician for a quick start at an outpatient Endoscopy Center in sunny Southern California. Travelers at this facility often return and build lasting relationships with the staff. Seeking a tech with 3+ years of experience who can work collaboratively with physicians, and nursing staff.
Start date:
ASAP Schedule: Mon-Fri, 0700-1530 (no weekends or holidays; no on call). Years of experienceREQ: 3 years (REQUIRED- experienced Endoscopy Technicians who are either SGNA Certified or CST. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience working in an endoscopy center or GI Lab.) First-timers accepted: No. Weekend REQ: No.
CERTS REQUIRED:
SGNA OR CST (Surgical Tech) Program Completion Preferred. BLS.BLS REQ: Yes. Is on-call REQ? No. Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No. Locals accepted: Yes! RTO Restrictions: Please include all RTO at the time of submittal.
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call of traveler up to 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks).
PREFERRED:
Olympus processor CV-190, Olympus Light Source CLV -190, Olympus scopes 190s; CO2 insufflator, CO2 tanks with regulator, Erbe cautery with electrosurgical unit, Erbe, Olympus OER Pro; HLD scope reprocessing.
Additional Information:
This position is at a stand alone endoscopy center. Tech will perform upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomy; biopsy, peg placement, banding, balloon dilation, Bravo; X-track; Tech should be accustomed to high level disinfection of procedural equipment. EPIC Experience preferred, Pro Vation Experience preferred. Colonoscopes, EGD Scopes, EBUS, EUS, Enteroscopes, ERCP Scopes, Fiber Optics, Flex Sigmoidoscopes experience required. Back Table Set Up & Room Set EXP preferred.
