In this role you will manage premium receivables and billing operations for an insurance organization. You will work with internal teams, brokers, and agents to strengthen cash recovery and improve collection outcomes. You will handle escalations and complex accounts, driving process improvements and governance. This long-term contract offers the chance to shape controls, support offshore teams, and contribute to sustained cash flow.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex billing and collection activity for receivables, including deductible-related and high-risk portfolios
- Investigate payment application discrepancies and unapplied cash to improve account accuracy
- Develop and implement collection strategies for overdue accounts and negotiated payment plans
- Handle disputed receivables and escalated matters by coordinating with stakeholders for timely resolution
- Partner with Underwriting, Finance, brokers, and agents to address premium-related issues and support collections outcomes
- Oversee recovery activity for aged and high-value balances, coordinating with external collections resources as needed
- Serve as senior point of contact for escalations from offshore support teams and complex account situations
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members and share best practices to improve performance
- Identify process gaps and propose stronger controls for governance, reporting, and cash flow improvement
