Job Description: The Food Processor in the Cook Chill Department works on‑site at the facility. The role prepares high‑quality food products for Charlie’s Produce customers, manages safe and efficient ingredient handling, operates cook chill equipment, and maintains food safety and sanitation standards. Schedule 4:00 am–12:30 pm; weekend availability required.

Duties: Measure, wash, trim, and prepare raw ingredients according to batch recipes. Operate cook chill kettles, mixers, blenders, and portioning equipment. Monitor chiller and cooling cycles to ensure product safety and quality. Follow standardized recipes and production sheets with high accuracy. Package finished products using vacuum‑seal or portion control systems. Monitor product quality, consistency, and adherence to recipes and specifications. Conduct and document required temperature checks.

Qualifications: Previous experience in food production, commercial kitchens, or manufacturing preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) is a plus. Ability to read and follow recipes, batch sheets, and safety instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
