Job Description Red Oak Plumbing Co. is a growing plumbing company focused on quality workmanship, reliability, and customer service. We are looking for an experienced Lead Field Technician who can work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and help us build a reputation as the most trusted plumbing company in our market. This is an opportunity to join a growing company early and play a key role in shaping its future.
Position Overview:
Plumber apprentice will perform residential and light commercial plumbing service, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance work. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, customer-focused, and capable of managing jobs with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair plumbing systems
- Install water, drain, and vent piping systems
- Perform plumbing service and maintenance work
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine effective solutions
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Maintain accurate job information and documentation
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment organized
- Maintain clean and safe jobsites
- Assist with training and mentoring helpers or apprentices when assigned
- Represent Red Oak Plumbing Co. professionally at all times
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of plumbing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, carry, and move plumbing materials and equipment
- Ability to pass background and employment screening requirements
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Excavation experience is preferred
- CompensationPay ranges based on experience
- Biweekly payroll
- Overtime paid in accordance with applicable law
- Compensation review after 90 days based on performance, technical ability, leadership, reliability, and overall contribution
- Benefits5 paid PTO days annually after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period5 paid holidays:

- Vehicle policies may change as the company grows.
Schedule
Work hours vary based on customer demand and project requirements. Candidates should be willing to work occasional overtime when necessary.
