We are recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager with a growing CPA firm in the East Valley. This role will report to, and work closely with Tax Partners & Senior Managers, where you will be responsible for supervising & mentoring a small team as well as reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Individuals, and Tax-Exempt Organizations. This is a great opportunity for a Tax Manager that wants to grow to the Partner level. Base salary for this role is $140,000-$175,000.
Qualifications:
- Batchelor’s degree in accounting required. Master's degree in Tax a plusCPA designation required 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Direct responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others
- Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive service
- High level of technical tax knowledge with ability to research and resolve complex issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax law and industry changes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to adapt to new technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including direct client communications
- Experience with CCH Axcess and ProSystems Engagement preferred
