Employee Benefits Account Executive

Location: Dallas Texas

What You'll Do: Serve as the day-to-day business partner for assigned client accounts, owning satisfaction and account profitability Lead the RFP process with carriers, underwriters, and internal account teams Analyze claims and utilization data to identify trends and build customized client reports Develop and present benchmarking reports comparing client plans against industry/geographic peers Build employee contribution scenarios and cost modeling in Excel Review Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and vendor contracts for accuracy and compliance Create polished client-facing presentations (Excel/Power Point) summarizing plan data and recommendations Develop employee communications — brochures, open enrollment materials, memos Mentor and delegate work to junior team members; manage project timelines using PM tools What You Bring 7+ years of account management experience in Employee Benefits (Accident & Health lines)Deep knowledge of medical, dental, life, LTD, STD, AD&D, and vision plan design Strong command of HIPAA, COBRA, and Health Care Reform compliance requirements Solid understanding of insurance markets, underwriting, and R.A.F. (Risk Adjustment Factor)Advanced Excel, Power Point, and Word skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment Active Life, Health & Accident license (or ability to obtain quickly)Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites
