Licensed Physical Therapist for Orthopedic Outpatient Practice in New York City

Work Environment: This position is based onsite in our outpatient office in New York City, where you will collaborate with a close-knit team comprised of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The office is designed to facilitate effective patient interactions and optimize treatment protocols, allowing for comfortable visits that promote recovery. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling a consistent and organized workflow.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that align with individual recovery goals. Manage a consistent patient caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour to ensure focused, quality care. Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions that promote mobility and reduce pain. Evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patient progress, continuously documenting care services provided. Educate patients on their conditions, demonstrating therapeutic exercises and guiding them through each phase of recovery. Encourage lifestyle changes by developing tailored fitness and wellness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care and support for each patient's rehabilitation journey. Patient Population / Client FocusOur facility predominantly serves individuals with private medical insurance, who seek specialized orthopedic care. This role requires a PT who has experience working with diverse patient demographics, addressing a range of conditions, from post-surgical rehab to chronic pain management. You will play a pivotal role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation process, molding their treatment to fit their unique backgrounds and therapeutic needs.

Compensation and Benefits: The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
