Compressor Technician

Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, service, and repair natural gas compressors and rotating equipment Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment overhauls Diagnose mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control issues Assist with compressor installations, start-ups, commissioning, and equipment upgrades Work with gas handling systems, piping, valves, instrumentation, and related process equipment Read P&IDs, schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals Complete service documentation and communicate equipment conditions to customers and internal teams Follow LOTO, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements Travel to customer locations throughout the assigned territory

Qualifications: Previous natural gas compressor or oil & gas field service experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience with compressors, engines, rotating equipment, or gas processing equipment Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and control systems Comfortable reading P&IDs and equipment schematics Experience with VRUs, vapor combustion equipment, flares, or similar process equipment is a plus Valid driver's license and ability to work in outdoor field environments Technical or mechanical training is preferred
