Parts Counter Sales Person

Responsibilities: o Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needso Supplies Service Technicians with parts as requiredo Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displayso Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locationso Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderlyo Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the managero Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working ordero Position does require working weekends and extended hours during planting and harvest seasons. Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:o Basic data entry/keyboarding skillso Basic parts and machinery knowledgeo Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer applicationo Ability to work in a team environmento Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.o High School diploma or equivalent experienceo Fork lift license preferred\nCompany
