Senior Personal Injury Trial Attorney

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff within a personal injury practice Oversee case strategy from intake through resolution, ensuring high-quality legal work and client outcomes Handle a reduced caseload of complex or high-value matters Drive litigation strategy, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation Ensure compliance with New York legal standards, deadlines, and firm protocols Mentor and develop junior attorneys and legal staff Collaborate with leadership on process improvements, case management workflows, and performance metrics Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional client service

Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school Active New York Bar admission (required)7+ years of personal injury litigation experience Prior team leadership or management experience strongly preferred Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills Experience with case management systems and legal technology Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
