Apply for this role →Social Media Intern (Unpaid) This is a part-time unpaid internship. ACCEL is a non-profit organization committed to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities. Our company provides innovative, individualized and comprehensive educational, therapeutic, vocational, behavioral, life skills, and transitional services to individuals with special needs. We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to help bring our organization's work to life through photography, videography, and social media storytelling. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and digital communications while building a professional portfolio. The intern will visit multiple ACCEL locations to capture authentic photos and videos that highlight activities, programs, and experiences involving our students, clients, and adult members. Working closely with our Director of Philanthropy and Marketing Coordinator, the intern will learn how visual content is developed and used to support social media platforms, marketing campaigns, and publicity efforts. Hands-on experience creating photo and video content for social media Practical experience with social media marketing and digital storytelling Experience developing content for different audiences and platforms An opportunity to build and strengthen a professional photography, videography, and social media portfolio Experience collaborating with a marketing professional in a real-world organizational setting The intern will work under the guidance of our Director of Philanthropy and Marketing Coordinator, who will provide direction, feedback, and mentorship throughout the internship. This role is designed to provide a meaningful learning experience while allowing the intern to apply classroom knowledge and develop practical skills in social media marketing and content creation. Must be 18 years of age or older, required Must have a valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in marketing, communications, or a related field Must have reliable transportation to travel to ACCEL's various locationsGED or High School Diploma, required
