What You Will DoEssential Functions and Responsibilities: Serve as technical authority for measurement methods and GD&T interpretation. Approve measurement strategies, methods, and significant revisions. Provide advanced GD&T guidance and challenge unreasonable print callouts. Determine appropriate measurement equipment and long-term measurement strategy. Lead collaboration with engineering on gage and fixture development. Interpret complex statistical studies and determine risk. Own metrology standards, training direction, and technical governance. Program and operate a variety of inspection equipment (CT scanner, vision systems, CMM).Reviews the output of completed programs, inspections and Gage R&R processes for accuracy and appropriateness prior to their submission to the PE Project Owner. Acts as the SME and liaison between metrologists and PE through the inspection method development lifecycle. Conducts mentoring and training for the metrology department to continuously improve abilities, consistency and confidence. Perform First Article inspections. Perform Gage R&R studies Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards. Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process. May draft new procedures and revise existing ones to conform to what is being done by inspection personnel. May assist with the Engineering staff in validating or troubleshooting inspection and testing methods. Supports Isometric ISO13485 continuous improvement initiatives. What You BringCore Qualifications Associate degree in related technical field with 7 years of experience or a minimum of 10 years related experience. Expert level understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T concepts. Knowledge of different inspection equipment and methods.

Compensation & Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is $38.46 – $45.67 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
