Locksmith / Security TechnicianEstablished in 1911, McElheney Security Solutions is the local leader in residential and commercial security solutions. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Locksmith / Security Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining locking systems, safes, and security hardware in the field. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Cut new or duplicate keys using key cutting, impressioning, and code key machinesDisassemble, repair, and replace components in mechanical and electrical locking devicesInstall, service, and maintain door hardware including locks, closers, and related componentsSet up and maintain master key systemsRekey locksMaintain accurate records of customer locks and key systemsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredStrong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitudeAbility to work independently and maintain detailed recordsPhysical ability to handle tools and perform manual tasksMust be able to pass drug test, criminal background check, and have a clean driving recordAt McElheney Security Solutions you'll enjoy competitive wages, health insurance, and a 401k.
