Norwood, NJ Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site Schedule: MondayFridayPhoenix Flavors & Fragrances, a Turpaz company, is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Norwood, NJ location. This position serves as a liaison between customers and internal departments, coordinating customer requests and orders from placement through delivery. The ideal candidate has strong customer service experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience in the flavors and fragrances industry or a related manufacturing environment is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate information about products, services, pricing, and company policies.
- Process orders, order changes, and customer requests accurately and efficiently.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Production, and Quality to address customer needs and support timely delivery.
- Follow up with customers and maintain strong working relationships.
- Support marketing initiatives and product launches.
- Participate in training to develop product and industry knowledge
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
At least three years of customer service experience.
Experience in flavors, fragrances, food, manufacturing, or a related industry preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with other departments.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional demeanor and effective interpersonal skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
