Apply for this role →🏗️ Senior Project Manager – Structural Steel | Indianapolis💰 Up to $160,000 | Profit Sharing | Car Allowance Some Senior Project Managers join to replace someone. This opportunity exists because the business is growing. We’re partnering with an established structural steel fabricator that has helped deliver major hospitals, office buildings, schools, retail developments and industrial facilities across the Midwest. With a healthy pipeline of secured work and continued growth ahead, they’re now looking to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to their operations team. You’ll take ownership of structural steel projects from contract award through fabrication, erection and final completion, leading the schedule, budget, commercial management and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Day to day, you’ll work closely with GCs, erectors, detailers and shop teams; review drawings, specifications and contracts; manage RFIs and submittals; coordinate fabrication, delivery and erection schedules; oversee change orders and project financials; resolve issues before they impact the job; and visit local jobsites approximately once a week. As a Senior PM, you’ll be trusted to take full ownership of your projects, drive key decisions and act as a senior point of contact between the customer, shop and field teams.
✅ What we're looking for:
10+ years of construction or engineering experience Strong structural steel experience is essential Proven experience managing structural steel projects through fabrication and erection Degree in Engineering or Construction Management Strong understanding of drawings, specifications and contract documents Commercial awareness across budgets, change orders and project costs Someone comfortable taking ownership, solving problems and communicating effectively across shop, field and GC teams The experience and judgement to manage complex projects with minimal oversight⚡ Why consider it?
