Private Markets Strategist

Role Overview: Initio Sphere is onboarding Private Markets Strategists to provide strategic, operational, and capital-market guidance to fund managers, investors, and deal sponsors. This is an independent contractor role. Strategists operate through a verification and approval process rather than traditional employment. Once approved, Private Markets Strategists: Advise on fund formation, capital raising, deal structuring, and operational strategyMentor analysts and deal scouts, building internal capacity and credibility Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure Build a verified Advisor Track Record within the ecosystem Ideal candidatesare experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven record of closing capital transactions or leading investment initiatives. What You’ll Do (Approval-Based) Approved Private Markets Strategists may: Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategyMentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling, diligence, and transaction execution Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors Strategists focus on high-level strategic guidance and relationship-driven deal activation. Day-to-day modeling or transactional execution is not required unless specifically approved. Eligible Advisory AreasFund formation, capital raising, and LP communications Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy Operational or portfolio company advisory Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts Investor relations and network strategy Approval is granted based on experience, track record, and demonstrated ability to advise on real transactions. Compensation & Deal Economics Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, track record, and engagement scope Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure No cap on earning potential for consistently high-value contributions How Strategists Get Activated Submit a Private Markets Strategist application, including background, track record, and deal history Complete verification and category approval Get promoted within the Initio Sphere platform Begin working with funds, sponsors, and analysts on approved engagements This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to real opportunities.
