Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities: Direct accounting operations for a portfolio of diverse corporate entities across multiple industries, overseeing financial reporting and accounting processes. Supervise a small accounting team, providing mentorship, training, and professional development while ensuring timely monthly closes and accurate workpaper preparation. Administer cash management and liquidity forecasting, including payment monitoring, interaccount transfers, capital calls, and investment of excess funds. Coordinate daily financial activities, including payment approvals, revenue tracking, payroll allocations, expense management, and intercompany transactions. Develop annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts across business units, evaluating performance against financial targets and presenting updates to senior leadership. Manage external audit engagements and annual tax compliance processes in collaboration with third-party accounting professionals. Analyze financial results, monitor profitability, and assess projected cash flows to support operational planning and strategic decision-making. Support strategic initiatives and special projects while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive financial, ownership, and compensation information. Implement accounting technology enhancements and evaluate new systems to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency.
