Apply for this role →We are looking for a dynamic leader to drive the day-to-day production and management of a distribution warehouse and yard. The role is responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of distribution-center operations and ensuring materials are delivered correctly and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
- Schedule and oversee the warehouse team to meet fulfillment-center demand.
- Manage workflow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
- Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review productivity and develop actionable plans for productivity improvement and loss prevention.
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction as a primary goal.
- Maintain warehouse operating standards and procedures covering:
- Product handling and storage
- Equipment utilization
- Inventory management
- Shipping and receiving
- Regularly inspect equipment, tools, and machinery and oversee general maintenance as needed.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing safety standards and procedures while complying with applicable legal regulations.
